How do I get started with Whistle While You Clean House Cleaning Service Cincinnati?
You begin by filling out an inquiry form on our website and answer a few questions. You will be contacted by one of our members to set up an appointment for us to do a walkthrough in your home and further answer any questions you may have. From there we can set you up for a one time deep clean, or a reoccurring weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning. We also offer gift cleanings you can purchase to surprise your loved ones for special occasions like birthday, anniversary and baby shower gift packages. Our scheduler will also explain further any of the services you may be interested in.
What kind of cleaning products do you use, and do I need to supply my own?
This is a great question, and we get asked this a lot. To begin, we supply our own cleaning products. The products vary from residential to commercial spaces, so I’ll explain a little in each. For commercial clients we use concentrated chemicals with different variations in strength and purpose. For example, in restrooms we use acid cleaners in order to break up residue and buildup. The acid cleaning products contain a pH level between 0 and 6 and are mainly used for the removal of lime deposits, scales, rust, heavy soap scum, and other difficult-to-clean inorganic deposits. This can be helpful when cleaning toilet bowls where buildup can accumulate over time and can sometimes require the use of a heavy cleaner to keep them looking clean and new. In a residential home we use similar products but in a less concentrated form to keep bathrooms looking like new. We use other products like neutral cleaners. Neutral cleaners can be great replacements for other cleaners that contain harsh chemicals when used on the right types of stains. However, if you have a very tough stain, you will be more satisfied with the speed and thoroughness of a more aggressive cleaner. We would first try a neutral cleaner and then move to a more aggressive cleaner. We always ensure that the cleaner we choose will not damage the surface by testing a small area first. Neutral cleaners are great for marble floors where you can’t use a more acidic chemical. We also use a general-purpose cleaner for wiping things like smudges on walls and fingerprints on light switches and door frames. We use glass cleaners for windows and disinfectants for more necessary jobs where bacteria and viruses can be expected to be present. Ask one of our experts for more information when you call us.
How long does the cleaning usually take?
This ranges from home to home and the amount of frequency you choose. If you are a homeowner and you sign up for a monthly cleaning, your home may require more cleaning each time one of our house cleaning service Cincinnati professionals visits your home. This is due to the increased amount of time between cleanings. Deep cleanings can range from 4 hours to 8 hours and regular reoccurring cleanings can range from 2 hours to 4 hours. It all depends on how regularly we visit and what services you choose. If a house cleaner starts you off with a deep clean to get your house started like hitting the reset button, then the follow up weekly cleanings will just be maintaining and refreshing week after week and less time. Feel free to ask for more information when you speak with us.
How much does it cost?
Each of our clients receives a personal estimate specific to your home or business. We determine this by the square footage of cleanable space, number of bathrooms, number of bedrooms and areas of heavy traffic. On average a 3-bedroom 2-bath home can range anywhere from 2-4 hours of cleaning per week depending on your needs. We offer flat rates with additional services (if requested) or billing on an hourly basis. This can also change if you request any of our add on services such as laundering bedding, clothes, cleaning blinds, wiping base boards, and wiping pet stains off walls. We can determine a fair price upon speaking with you and asking you a few more preliminary questions to get you started with a clean, peaceful home.
What are the rotations people usually sign up for?
Our residential house cleaning service Cincinnati customers typically sign up for a deep clean followed by weekly or bi-weekly cleanings. Our commercial customers have different needs that may require daily or a 2-3 times per week frequency with added attention in specific high traffic areas or restrooms. Educational buildings for example may require a more specific disinfectant/ sanitation routine around areas like bathrooms, desks, lunchroom tables and carpets where children may gather for quiet time. We create a client specific plan to meet the needs of each individual business or home. No two businesses or homes are ever the same.
Do you use products that are safe around animals?
Yes. We take precautions to purchase only industry approved products that can be safely used around people and animals. We also take precaution to use them in the correct way and on the right surfaces. Additionally we take care to open windows while using products like oven cleaners to ensure that there is ample ventilation even after we are done. If there is any product you are concerned about, one of our cleaning experts would be happy to speak with you and create a substitute plan for your needs.
